ARTIST STATEMENT

Nature’s Cathedral honors the Spirit of plants and our sacred connection to them. Imagine you are seeing the windows from outside a cathedral where a gingko branch grows. Gingko trees symbolize peace, hope, & vitality. Each panel has satin stitch ‘lead’; Sashiko quilting, and glass beads catching the light to draw the viewer to appreciate the cell & plant patterns. Custom printed fabrics:

•border- caladium leaves,

•side squares- iris cells

•center panel- poplar leaf cells
