ARTIST STATEMENT
This triptych is about a medical journey I recently endured. It expresses the grief I felt over losing my good health, but I hope it represents any grief process.

Lisa Heller is obsessed with art quilting and surface design methods on cloth including hand dying and hand printing. She has exhibited art throughout western North Carolina as well as South Florida. She is a member of Studio Art Quilt Associates, Mountain Art Quilters, Asheville Quilt Guild, and Shady Ladies Quilt Group.
